Red Diamond Shiraz 2013

This was hot on initial opening. It may be past its prime. It seemed to mellow in the fridge for a while and then went hot again. Stick to the Merlot.

Red Diamond is a brand of wines produced in Washington State since 2003. The value driven wines were initially only marketed to restaurants, but were such a success, that they expanded to retail offerings in 2004. The wines are available in Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Chardonnay. They continue to be some of the most popular American restaurant and bar wines, offering good bang-for-buck quality.

An excellent budget bottle. Even a little jammy! Quite smooth with all its respective elements in place. I would say value city with this Red Diamond bottle.
This is by far one of my favorite under $10 bottles of wine. I've taken it to many parties and it's always been a crowd favorite and stands up very well against the more expensive wines.
Delicious wine, with leather and floral aromas finishing with a little black pepper. Not too acidic, with soft tannins. I will definately purchase more of this wine. Love it!

Aromas of raspberry jam, leather and pepper, mingle with a bit of floral spice on the nose. Spicy floral notes carry through the fruit-packed, medium-bodied palate, finishing with a touch of honey.
