Pavillon Blanc du Chateau Margaux Margaux 2017

Editorial Review by Gregory Dal Piaz:

very figgy and smoky on the nose with an underlay of roasted meat and some dry, earthy edges. Big entry, low acid, slightly oily texture front end has good focus and the finish shows some nutty oak and while short is well defined and supported by acidity but the midpalate is hollow and what little is there is woody and coarse.

100% Sauvignon Blanc. Easy to guess Sauvignon Blanc. Aroma of lemon-lime, kiwi and quince. Showing very lean, super high acid, a tad tart. David Derby. A Bordeaux Blanc wine from Bordeaux in France. 2008 Margaux, Pavillon Blanc du Chateau 750ml
