Méo-Camuzet Vosne-Romanée Aux Brûlées 2001

Winemaker's Notes:

Clos Vougeot gets its name from the River Vouge, a stream separating Vougeot from Chambolle-Musigny. Monks were known to plant vines in this region as far back as the 12th century. Nowadays, Clos de Vougeot is one of the largest single vineyards in Burgundy producing Grand Cru wines. This wine has obvious elegance and texture, very approachable, superb length. Drinking well now though young, but will also develop with age.
