Frescobaldi Montesodi Chianti Rufina 2001

Winemaker's Notes:

Single vineyard Montesodi was among the first superior all-Sangiovese wines to be aged in small oak casks. Low-yielding vines, regular pump-overs to extract colour and flavour and bottling without filtration to retain every ounce of wholesomeness, contribute to this wine's stellar reputation. Cinnamon, vanilla, red currant and raspberry characters mingle in delicious harmony. 14% ABV.
