The Frapin family has been around the Southwest of France since 1270. Always active in the domain of winegrowing, they specialized in distillation much later on and have since continued to stand strong throughout twenty generations!

Not only is this one of the finest XO Cognacs, it is also one of the best values in mature brandy. Produced entirely from estate grown Grande Champagne grapes and aged in a dry cellar for many years. Aromas of ripe grapes, orange peel, fig, and woody spices rise from the glass. Round and ripely fruity on the palate, but still quite dry, all the elements are seamlessly integrated.

Aged on its lees, this is a single estate cognac, distilled, aged and bottled at Frapin’s Château Fontpoint, in the Grand Champagne region of France. It is produced from the Frapin family reserves with an average barrel age of 18-20 years which is three times as long as required by law.
