Domaine Ponsot Griotte-Chambertin Grand Cru 2006

Winemaker's Notes:

91-95 points Fine Wine Review: The Griotte-Chambertin is from vines only 14 years old. Laurent calls this his 'Lolita' wine, obviously a reference to its seductiveness and the youth of the vines. It shows lovely, pure Griotte red cherry fruit with excellent acidity and admirable length. Pity that with the hail damage this is such a rare wine. (Issue 119; 2008)

Domaine Ponsot:
Domaine Ponsot wines are traditional wines and our production methods stay away from modern trends. This is a conscious choice we have made, rather than something that stems from an occult belief in what is known today as 'non-interventionism'.
