Chateauneuf du Pape Domaine de l'Arnesque 2007

External Review by WineExpress.com:

Ships for 99¢/Bottle Through Monday, February 8th at 9AM EST Robert Parker rated the 2007 Southern Rhone vintage 98 points and here is a prime example of why. A great discovery, this Chateauneuf du Pape is estate bottled by a small family owned domaine. Domaine de L’Arnesque owns 11 acres of vines in the Arnesque district, just south of Mont Redon. The vines are cultivated and harvested by the family and the wine is made and bottled in their chai. Like the wine of a few other very prestigious properties, this wine is 100% Grenache. Aged 6 months in barrels it shows supple black fruit and zesty spice. From vintage that Robert Parker rated 98 pts., this wine is dense, ripe and vibrant with intense black plum fruit and exotic spice overtones. Drinks beautifully now but put a few bottles in your cellar for 3-5 years. Not sponsored by or affiliated with The Wine Advocate
