Chateau Dor et de Gueules les Cimels Costieres de Nimes 2007

Winemaker's Notes:

The 2007 Les Cimels is a blend of very old-vine Carignan (about 40%) combined with 50% Syrah and 10% Grenache, all tank-fermented and aged. This 1,000-case cuvee is fresh, elegant, and exhibits plenty of sandy, loamy soil notes intermixed with red and black cherries, black currant, Provencal herbs, and some floral notes. The wine displays nice, sweet, silky tannins, good freshness, and a medium-bodied finish.
